As India moves towards achieving Universal Health Coverage and in a context where substantial improvement has been made in overall access and coverage, the needs of such populations in underserved areas must assume the highest priority. Chikitsa Chikitsak Apke Dwar (CCAD) programmes addresses the same issues. Inspired by the noble vision of Honourable MOS of Health, Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey ji for providing Quality Healthcare at the Door Steps of the Buxar parliamentary constituency residents, the prestigious चिकित्सा-चिकित्सक आपके द्वार Program has been designed. The honourable minister is a guiding light for this programme and under his guidance the programme roll out has taken place.

This Program, consists of 5 numbers of equipped Mobile Medical Units (MMU) carrying Medical Doctor, Lab Technician and ANM, which will be visiting the six segments of Buxar Parliamentary Constituency namely, Brahmpur, Buxar, Dumraon, Rajpur, Ramgarh and Dinara. The MMUs upon visiting the pre-defined visit schedule, will be performing Diagnostic services, dispense medication, provide Doctor Consultation and Tele-Consultation with a Specialist with the help of AIIMS Patna. All the services are available to the residents at free of cost.
